SHANGHAI / LONDON, CHINA, October 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Debut Shanghai event from the team behind Tech Festivals unveils a new wave of global speakers from the innovators, investors and policymakers driving China's growing technology sector.

Hongqiao Tech Week (HTW), the new international technology event from Informa, has today announced a new wave of global speakers ahead of its debut at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Shanghai, from 20 to 22 November 2026.

The event comes at a pivotal moment for Chinese technology. Its AI models are increasingly competing with global leaders, its data centre capacity is growing at pace and it has more robots on the factory floor than anywhere else in the world. Yet despite its emergence as a global technology leader, for many international businesses, the companies driving that shift remain largely unknown.

Hongqiao Tech Week is designed to change that, creating a two-way bridge between global business leaders and China’s industrial and technology ecosystem. The speakers announced today offer international audiences a rare, close-up view of the companies driving China’s growth, from the robotics firms putting embodied AI to work on factory floors to the energy, infrastructure and security companies powering China’s digital economy.

New speakers announced today include Ning Ning, VP of International Business and AI Consulting at 01.AI, the AI lab founded by Kai-Fu Lee and one of China's 'AI tigers', alongside senior leaders from Roche, Sungrow, HUTCHMED, Zai Lab, XtalPi and COSCO Shipping Technology, and Yaning Wang, former Director of the US Food and Drug Administration's Office of Clinical Pharmacology.
