DALLAS, TX, UNITED STATES, October 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Global Peace and Prayer Gathering in Dallas Calls for Dialogue, Reconciliation and an End to War

Dr. K. A. Paul, President of the Global Peace Initiative, is calling on religious leaders, political representatives, peace advocates, humanitarian organizations and members of the international media to join a Global Peace and Prayer Gathering on Sunday, October 25, 2026, in the Dallas–Fort Worth area of Texas.

The multifaith gathering will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Central Time at PRISM in Las Colinas, bringing together representatives from diverse religious and community backgrounds to pray for peace, encourage dialogue and reconciliation, and highlight the urgent humanitarian consequences of armed conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine.

Dr. Paul is inviting journalists, television networks, radio stations, newspapers, international news agencies, digital media organizations and independent reporters to attend and cover the gathering. Media representatives will have opportunities to interview Dr. Paul and participating leaders before and during the program, subject to event access and scheduling arrangements.

A Multifaith Call for Peace

The Global Peace and Prayer Gathering is intended to bring people from different religious traditions and communities together around a shared humanitarian objective: protecting human life and promoting peaceful solutions to international conflicts.

According to the organizers, representatives and invited participants include members of Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh and other faith communities, as well as civic leaders, humanitarian advocates and community representatives.

Dr. Paul says approximately 150 leaders and representatives have been invited to participate in the broader peace initiative.

The gathering is designed to provide a platform for prayer, reflection, dialogue and public discussion about the human cost of war. Organizers say the event will emphasize the importance of communication across political, religious and cultural differences while encouraging governments and international institutions to pursue diplomatic approaches wherever possible.

“Wars do not affect only the countries where the fighting takes place. Their consequences reach families, communities, and economies around the world. We must bring people of every faith and nation together and insist that peace, dialogue, and human life become the highest priorities,” Dr. Paul said.

International Peace and Diplomatic Outreach

As part of his broader peace initiative, Dr. Paul says he has been engaged in communications with U.S. congressional leaders, representatives from both major U.S. political parties, and representatives connected with Iran concerning international conflicts and opportunities for dialogue.

Dr. Paul has described communications with U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson concerning efforts related to peace in the Middle East and the Russia-Ukraine war.

He has also described communications involving Iranian representatives and individuals associated with the office of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as part of his efforts to encourage dialogue and negotiations.

According to Dr. Paul, on March 16 he presented President Donald Trump with a proposed 15-point peace plan and subsequently communicated with U.S. officials regarding his peace initiatives.

These statements represent Dr. Paul's account of his diplomatic outreach and should be independently confirmed by media organizations before publication as independently verified facts.

Dr. Paul says his objective is to encourage communication between parties, reduce the risk of further escalation and promote diplomatic approaches that can help prevent additional loss of life.

He argues that sustained dialogue, international cooperation and engagement among political, religious and civic leaders are important components of any long-term effort toward peace.

Global Peace Summit in Washington, D.C.

The Dallas gathering follows a Global Peace Summit that Dr. Paul says he organized on September 23 in Washington, D.C.

According to the organizers, more than 101 leaders and representatives from political, diplomatic, religious and international communities attended the summit at the Hilton in Washington, D.C.

The organizers say participants included U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, a vice president from the Republic of the Congo, ambassadors and members of the U.S. Congress, among other invited representatives.

The summit focused on cooperation across political and religious differences and on the importance of peaceful approaches to international conflicts.

Dr. Paul says he was encouraged by participation from individuals representing different political, diplomatic, religious and cultural backgrounds and believes that such engagement can contribute to a broader international conversation about peace.

Details concerning attendance and the participation of individual public officials should be independently confirmed by media organizations and event organizers.

Outreach to Iranian Leaders

Dr. Paul also reports that he met with Iran's president and foreign minister in New York on September 25 during the period of the United Nations General Assembly.

He says his relationship with Iran's president dates back to 2004, when the Iranian leader was serving in a government health ministry role.

Dr. Paul describes these contacts as part of his continuing efforts to establish channels of communication and encourage peaceful negotiations.

The Global Peace Initiative says that maintaining opportunities for dialogue can be important even when governments and political leaders face significant disagreements.

The organizers encourage media organizations covering these claims to independently verify the identities, dates, participants and circumstances of the reported meetings.

The Human Cost of War

The Global Peace Initiative says that the effects of armed conflicts extend well beyond the immediate areas where fighting occurs.

Wars can contribute to humanitarian emergencies, displacement, economic uncertainty, food-price pressures, energy-market disruptions and broader international security concerns.

Dr. Paul is calling on governments, lawmakers, international institutions and civil society organizations to prioritize the protection of civilians, humanitarian assistance, diplomatic engagement and peaceful negotiations.

He is also encouraging citizens to communicate with their elected representatives and express support for diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing violence and protecting civilian populations.

The October 25 gathering will provide an opportunity for people from different communities to come together around these concerns and express their support for peace.

A Global Network of One Billion Peace Partners

As part of his wider initiative, Dr. Paul is also calling for the creation of a worldwide network of one billion peace partners.

The proposed outreach model encourages each participant to share a message of peace with seven additional people. The organizers envision this as a grassroots effort through personal networks, religious institutions, community organizations, educational institutions and media platforms.

The initiative seeks to encourage individuals to participate actively in peacebuilding rather than viewing peace as solely the responsibility of governments and political leaders.

According to Dr. Paul, the campaign will encourage people to support dialogue, reject violence against civilians, promote humanitarian assistance and encourage accountability among public officials regarding decisions involving war and peace.

The organizers hope the initiative can create a broad international network of individuals who are willing to advocate for peaceful conflict resolution within their communities.

Invitation to International Media

The Global Peace Initiative is extending an invitation to members of the international media to cover the October 25 gathering.

Media organizations are encouraged to:

Interview Dr. K. A. Paul regarding his peace initiatives and diplomatic outreach.

Speak with participating religious leaders, civic representatives and peace advocates.

Cover the multifaith gathering and its message of peace, dialogue and reconciliation.

Report on the humanitarian and international issues discussed during the program.

Share the gathering's message with audiences in the United States, India and around the world.

Consider live coverage, interviews and other appropriate editorial opportunities during the event.

Organizers say media participation is important to creating a wider public conversation about the human consequences of war and the role of diplomacy, dialogue and reconciliation in addressing international conflicts.

Building Bridges Across Faiths and Communities

The October 25 gathering is intended to demonstrate that people from different religious traditions and cultural backgrounds can come together around shared humanitarian concerns.

Rather than focusing on religious or political differences, the initiative seeks to create space for common principles including respect for human life, compassion for civilians, peaceful dialogue and reconciliation.

Organizers believe that religious and community leaders can play an important role in encouraging their communities to reject hatred and violence and to support constructive engagement.

The gathering will therefore combine prayer, reflection, public advocacy and opportunities for dialogue among participants.
